Recent Remodel Sells in Six Days!

We are excited to share with you the news about one of our recent remodels in Fountain, CO.  In a slowing market this house hit the market on Thursday Feb 16, started accepting showings on Saturday Feb 18, and by Tuesday Feb 21 the owners had six offers and accepted the one that offered $15,000 over asking and with an appraisal gap.  Between our amazing team and the hard working hustle of their realtor this house went fast in a market where houses have been sitting in the market once again.

This is what we did to get this house ready for a market that has been slowing for the last seven months:  We painted the outside of the house about four years ago and then once renters moved out we came in replaced 80% of the flooring with both carpet and LVP, we installed a granite counter top in the kitchen , put in a new kitchen backsplash, put i inn a new tub and then new tile I. The two upstairs bathrooms, painted all the ceilings, walls, trim, doors and closets, removed and replaced approx 250 Lf of baseboard and door trim, painted the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, built storage shelving for the basement bathroom, re-built two window ledges in the master bedroom, installed shower curtains in the bathrooms and curtains in two living areas, installed new custom window blinds on every window, installed a new garbage disposal, and all new faucets and complete trim in the kitchen and bathrooms, replaced leaky water shut valves, and got the house up to code with the electrical while also installing six new lights to give certain areas in the house better lighting.
